General Home Inspection
A general home inspection is a visual, non-invasive examination of a property's visible and accessible components. The purpose is to identify any looming problems, safety hazards or code violations that need to be addressed before buying or selling a property. A typical inspection includes the roof, foundation, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as doors, windows, walls, and ceilings. This is not an exhaustive inspection. A representative number of items (1x per room) will be inspected where multiple instances of a particular item exists (i.e. outlets, cabinets, etc.).
Average time: 2-3 hours
Starting at $0.21/sq. ft.
A four-point inspection is a specific type of home inspection that focuses on four critical areas of a dwelling: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical and roofing. This inspection is typically required by insurance companies to assess risk and determine coverage for an older home. It is intended to identify potential hazards or deficiencies to you as well the insurance company requiring the report.
Average time: 1.5 hours
Starting at $175 flat fee
Wind Mitigation Inspection
A wind mitigation inspection is a type of property inspection that evaluates a home's ability to resist and withstand high winds during severe storms or hurricanes. The purpose of a wind mitigation inspection is to identify specific features of the home that reduce the risk of damage and help homeowners qualify for insurance discounts. During the inspection, various aspects of the home, such as roof type and construction, doors, windows, and structural attachments, are evaluated and graded based on established criteria.
Average time: 1 hour
Starting at $150 flat fee
Manufactured Home Inspection
A normal home inspection typically evaluates a traditional stick-built home, while inspecting a manufactured home requires specialized knowledge and training due to unique construction methods and safety standards. Factors such as the foundation, framing, plumbing, and electrical systems of a manufactured home are typically different and require a different approach to inspection. Additionally, manufactured homes have additional issues to consider, such as the number of tie-downs, construction materials that affect energy efficiency, and weather-related factors.
Average time: 2-3 hours
Starting at $0.23/sq. ft.
Whole Home Inspection
Our signature service! Unlike a General Home Inspection, where only a representative number of items per room is assessed for the overall condition of the home, a Whole Home Inspection gets more detailed. We will check every accessible outlet, cabinet, drawer, etc., in order to give you the most comprehensive amount of information about your home! It may be overkill, but you never know what you'll find in older homes. So, let us find it for you!
Average time: 4-6 hours
Starting at $0.30/sq. ft.
